Why Evidentiary.ai

An Engineering Culture
Worth Joining

Cutting-Edge Stack

Multi-model AI, Rust services, cloud-native microservices and on-prem capabilities, real-time data pipelines — technology that matters.

Small Team, Big Impact

Every engineer shapes the product. No bureaucracy, no ticket queues — direct ownership of features that matter.

Remote-First

Work from anywhere. We value output over hours, async communication, and deep focus time.

Real-World Impact

Our platform helps litigation teams manage cases that affect real people. What you build matters beyond the code.

Find Your Role

All positions are full-time. Click a role to learn more.

About the Role

Design, build, and optimize the AI/LLM systems that power Evidentiary.ai's document review, entity extraction, case intelligence, and predictive analytics. You'll work with multi-model architectures, retrieval-augmented generation, and continuous active learning pipelines that process millions of legal documents.

What You'll Do

  • Build and fine-tune LLM pipelines for legal document analysis
  • Design multi-model routing and consensus architectures
  • Implement RAG systems with citation-grounded generation
  • Develop continuous active learning (CAL) with statistical validation
  • Optimize model inference for latency and cost at scale

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years building production ML/AI systems
  • Deep experience with LLMs (fine-tuning, prompting, evaluation)
  • Strong Python; familiarity with PyTorch or equivalent
  • Experience with vector databases and retrieval systems
  • Bonus: legal domain knowledge or NLP for specialized domains

About the Role

Build the user-facing platform that litigation teams use daily — from document review interfaces to case intelligence dashboards. You'll own features end-to-end, from API design to interactive D3 visualizations, in a TypeScript monorepo serving enterprise law firms.

What You'll Do

  • Build React frontends with real-time data and complex visualizations
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs in Node.js/Express
  • Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch
  • Implement role-based access control and case-level data isolation
  • Optimize for performance at enterprise scale

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years full stack development (TypeScript strongly preferred)
  • Strong React experience with state management at scale
  • Backend experience with Node.js and relational databases
  • Experience with microservice architectures
  • Bonus: D3.js, data visualization, or legal tech experience

About the Role

Build the high-performance core of our document processing pipeline — the systems that ingest, parse, de-duplicate, and index millions of documents with cryptographic chain-of-custody. Rust's safety and speed are essential for the scale and reliability our platform demands.

What You'll Do

  • Build high-throughput document processing pipelines in Rust
  • Implement cryptographic hashing and chain-of-custody verification
  • Design near-duplicate detection and email threading engines
  • Optimize memory and CPU usage for large-scale document sets
  • Build WASM modules for client-side document preview

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years production Rust experience
  • Strong understanding of systems programming (memory, concurrency, I/O)
  • Experience with file parsing, text extraction, or data pipelines
  • Familiarity with cryptographic primitives
  • Bonus: experience with WASM, document formats (PDF, MBOX, PST)

About the Role

Own the infrastructure that runs Evidentiary.ai — a cloud-native, multi-region platform with strict security and compliance requirements. You'll architect and maintain the systems that keep enterprise litigation data safe, available, and performant.

What You'll Do

  • Manage AWS infrastructure (EKS, RDS, DocumentDB, ElastiCache)
  • Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response
  • Ensure SOC 2, HIPAA, and FedRAMP compliance at the infrastructure level
  • Manage multi-region deployments and data residency requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years in systems administration or DevOps/SRE
  • Strong AWS experience (or equivalent cloud provider)
  • Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting
  • Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation)
  • Bonus: experience with security compliance frameworks
